This tour is not only for lovers of mysteries and legends – we recommend everybody to visit with us two beautiful cities in western Slovakia. Trencin, which dates back to Roman times, is famous for its fortified castle built high on a rock above the city. The Trencin Castle’s construction probably dates back to the 11th century but Roman inscription below the Castle dating from 179 AD is the most northern evidence of Roman soldiers’ presence in Central Europe. Castle was converted into Trencin Museum and it offers a lot of artifacts and temporary exhibitions documenting the history of the region – exhibitions of historic furniture, weapons, pictures and other artifacts as well as a gallery, and archaeological collections.

Another, however completely different type of castle on our tour is located in Bojnice. It is one of the most popular castles in Slovakia. The first written evidence of existence of this marvelous place comes from 1113. In 1970 the castle was declared a National cultural monument. Nowadays it houses a museum. The castle is renowned for being a filming stage for many fairy-tale and fantasy movies, the International Festival of Ghosts and Spirits and the Summer Music Festival.

We offer private tours with private English speaking guide.
