We recommend you our guided tour towards east from Bratislava to visit Nitra - one of the oldest cities in the Slovakia, founded in the Nitra river valley, which gave it the name. Surroundings of the city are full of natural beauty including natural reserve called “Zaborska Lasostep”. Nitra itself is full of historical monuments which we will see during our excursions. Amongst highlights we need to mention Nitra Castle with St Emmeram’s Cathedral, Prince Pribina’s Square and Statue (first ruler of Nitra), Baroque Church of St Peter and Paul from 17th century and huge building of former Synagogue. After visiting Old Town area you will understand why Pope John Paul II called Nitra as “The Bethlehem of Slovakia”. Numerous churches including the oldest ones in the country undoubtedly make Nitra the spiritual capital of Slovakia.
From Nitra we will drive a few kilometres further to the east to reach Beladice - small village well- known for natural beauty and green landscapes in its surroundings. During our visit in this area we will we take a look at extremely original and beautiful manor-house which together with Park Hotel Tartuf is a protected cultural monument.
